During her time at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly), Shelby showcased her exceptional talent in indoor and outdoor events.
At the Don Kirby Elite Invitational, she broke the school record in the indoor 200-meter dash with a time of 24.69 seconds. In addition, she achieved a personal best of 7.62 seconds in the 60-meter dash, marking the second fastest time in Cal Poly’s history. Academically, Shelby has balanced her athletic endeavors with a commitment to her studies, earning Big West All-Academic honors and recognition from College Sports Communicators as an Academic All-District athlete. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture in spring 2023.
