Reeves Broussard, a resident of Alpharetta, Georgia, and a Senior Software Engineer at Chick-fil-A Corporate Support Center in Atlanta, Georgia, has sadly passed away. He was announced dead by his family in a social media publication that read “We are heartbroken but rejoicing, Reeves is in the loving arms of Jesus.” Reeves was loved and cherished by all who knew him and he was respected in his place of work.

According to a statement read by the family Reeves Broussard sadly passed away Monday afternoon after complications with a brain bleed from an AVM which had been causing seizures these past few years. Part of the statement read “We won’t ever know the full impact of his life this side of heaven, but the outpouring of love around his family and friends as we navigated his final days here was just a glimpse.”
Who was Reeves Broussard?
Reeves Broussard was a native of Athens, Georgia and a beloved son and brother. He attended the Denning Technology & Management Program from 2013 to 2015 where he minor in Computing & Business and also attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2015 where he obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science. He was a student Technology Intern at Oconee County School System from 2009 to 2010 and a Location IT Support Intern at USDA-ARS, a Russell Research Center in Athens from 2011 to 2013.
He was also a Junior Systems Administrator at Georgia Tech Professional Education. He was a Network Services Intern at Boeing in Charleston, South Carolina in 2014 and later worked with them as a Program Analyst and Developer. Reeves worked at General Motors in Roswell, Georgia as a Quality Assurance Test Analyst and as a Big Data Engineer. He was currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Chick-fil-A Corporate Support Center.
